Meele Shrestha is CEO of Maxlee, an IT solutions provider in Nepal. She has more than 10 years of experience in the IT industry, working with companies that are pioneers in providing attendance and payroll systems to corporations in Nepal, including banks, 5-star hotels, media organizations, hospitals, home developers, the Supreme Court, and international airlines. She’s led Maxlee through a major expansion, growing the company to become a major importer and distributor of biometric devices, access control systems, and CCTV.
As a young female entrepreneur in Nepal, Meele has made huge impact on the entrepreneurial ecosystem. She was distinguished as a Young Achiever by the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry in August 2013, and led a successful Young Women’s Entrepreneurs Summit in March 2013. She is an executive committee member of Nepal Young Entrepreneurs Forum.
Meele holds an MBA from King’s College in Kathmandu and degrees in Computer Information Systems and Business Studies from Apex College.
