In conjunction with Global Entrepreneurship Week, The Mine will be hosting a special conversation on November 18th with Guy Lieberman- social entrepreneur and founder of The Giant Flag Project.
Hailing from South Africa, Guy formerly spent 6 years as an activist for Tibetan freedom and liason to the Dala Lama and has produced globally screened films on sacred music, culture and mimicry. He now has his own green innovation consultancy, Second Nature Sustainable Solutions and is pioneering new efforts in entrepreneurship and eco-tourism.
The Giant Flag Project is a global collaboration to create a 66 Hectare South African flag made up of millions of coloured desert plants and a 4 Megawatt solar field- visible from space! Equal parts tourism, sustainability, entrepreneurship and social impact- this is a conversation you won’t want to miss!
