If you’re interested in utilizing fresh, eager talent to grow your new idea, it could be a great Mine Fellow project. A Mine Fellow Team is ideal for innovative community partners or non-profits who want to add a new program, product line, or expansion but do not have the capacity for permanent staff additions.
What makes a great project:
- It’s BIG. Fellows only work on the biggest and highest-impact problems.
- It’s LOCAL. We want to impact Tulsa, Oklahoma and look for stakeholders with the same emphasis.
- It’s SOCIALLY INNOVATIVE. We want projects that create a better world by creatively addressing a community issue while applying business principles and startup approaches.
- It’s AWESOME. Our Fellows put in a lot of hard work, so we want them to work on something energizing and exciting!
Mine Fellow Teams are comprised of five (5) talented individuals from diverse backgrounds and an alumni team leader. The teams are high-powered and can accomplish a number of deliverables including: in-depth market and competitors analyses, initial concept testing, implementation times, financial and business models. Each project receives a $10,000 seed fund and determines the most effective way to spend the funds.
